Therapist with a dog...

    I think this is a fantastic idea. I am very anxious at airports, not so much because of the flying but because of all the noise and visual stimulation. I would love to have a lab to love a bit while at the airport.
    Then I would have to pay for therapy for the Ragdoll because it lives with 2 Bengals and a lab raised by Bengals which is the animal equivalent of saying "was that person raised by wolves, they are so wild?"

    I am getting such incredible ideas from this thread.

    Yes - fellow therapist here! I think Carl Rogers would approve of Lab Assisted therapy! ( ;

    Zac is not quite ready to be in a therapy role... He is very exuberant! But I am in the process of working with Therapy Dogs International (Based here in NJ) to bring some therapy dogs to the law schools right before exams this spring. I can't wait! Has anyone else heard of or worked with TDI?
