Bruin is really my 9yr old daughters puppy but for obvious reasons I have been the one doing most of the training with him, he is still only 6 1/2 mnths old but it is so rewarding to finally see my efforts really starting to pay off, my daughter and her puppy walking to heel today..so nice!

What lovely pictures....Bruin looks older in the pictures than 61/2 months so brilliant job on getting a safe heel for them both to enjoy walks together x

How lovely! So nice to see him walking so well with a loose lead, and straight past those tempting puddles! ☺

Aww thankyou all for your lovely comments. It was just so lovely to watch and he was so good as I was away ahead of them trying to catch a few pictures and its been me doing all the training so far! We are so lucky we've found a lovely retired chap who has helped us a bit over the past few weeks with Bruin's training but he wants him off lead at heel working on our next session doing retrieves! I would never have thought that possible a month or so ago but now it just seems a natural progression and the key to his retrieving work! We may never work him but as he is so bright it seems a shame so we might have to have a go at doing some puppy tests with him.

Dexter... he has always been a big strong pup, I remember the vet thought he looked a month older when we took him for his first vaccinations! He's been training recently with a 15/16mnth lab dog and he's was not far off his size!

Emily, he must have had his fill of snorkling and splashing in the puddles by that point. He had already had a hooley running about & in and out of them!
