    Hi All,

    I would just like to introduce myself and my “soon to be” puppy to the forum.

    My puppy is a Labrador retriever and he will be joining our family this Friday, when he’s 8 weeks.

    As this is the first time I have owned a dog, I am extremely excited and so are the kids!

    I am first time dog owner, so I am sure I will have heaps of questions along the way.

    Welcome Robbie from us, Hattie 6 years and Charlie 3 years. What will you be naming your puppy? It's just so exciting for you and your children - enjoy!! and ask anything you like, always excellent advise from everyone. Good luck xx :)

    Our lab is a black male and we are naming him Zulu.

    Hello and welcome! Looking forward to seeing pictures of Zulu.

    What ages are your children? There is some excellent advice on the main site about children playing safely with Labradors. If you have not already come across it, http://www.thelabradorsite.com/how-to-play-safely-with-a-labrador/

    Hi Robbie , warm welcome from me, my two year old black Lab Sam and little Millie :) :)

    Its always good to do some homework before bringing a puppy home , love the name Zulu :)

    Welcome from Holly (17 month yellow Lab) and me. I can imagine the excitement about having a new puppy. Please post some pictures when he arrives.
