We had to take Tilly to the Emergency Vet tonight. She counter surfed and got a bag with her bottle of Deramaxx. She (we hope it was only Tilly) ate about a months supply. We got her to throw up and took her to the 24 hr Vet Clinic. They could not get her to throw up any more. They started her on an IV with some meds that they hope will limit kidney and liver damage and will do a blood panel tonight and again on Thursday. She will probably be there several days, and it will be a while before we really know if/how much damage was done.

We hope that Cooper did not get into the pills, and we think it is unlikely that the did, but we won't know for a while.

Oh no, what a terrible worry for you. I do hope that both the dogs come through unaffected. I'm sure that it'll stay with you for a long time :(

So sorry to hear this! It is simply impossible to protect against all the things our Labradors can do to themselves. Well done for making her sick and getting her to the vet, she is a lucky girl to have you. Fingers crossed that she'll be back to health soon. Thinking of you.

Oh no. I hope Tilly is ok. I guess she chomped the bottle and the pills fell out? Otherwise they might have gone through undigested if the bottle was not too big?
