Homer is now three. He's definitely calmed down and getting all gown up, except when it's time for bed. He's nearly there with training and can do pretty much everything fir the Bronze obedience certificate, just need enough of the other dogs in the group to catch up so we can get tested. I'd love a girl pup to completee our family. If we were to get another now's the time as I'll be on school holidays. But new pup means more trouble!
Tatze is two and 100% brilliant with Gypsy. Has Homer been neutered? I imagine it would be very hard indeed with an entire male and a puppy in season. I love having two dogs and if it were me, I wouldn't wait.
Barney was 3 when we decided on Shelby. We castrated him few weeks after she came home as we wanted to avoid seasonal problems. Taking her was the best decision we have ever made! I read somewhere that you don't really know your dog until you get them companion & I agree with that. Multiple dog household is different, sometimes can be more difficult, obviously is more expensive but is much more enjoyable. Long story short - now we have 3 labs (our boy & 2 girls) & are planning adding another girl next year so be careful as there's always that temptation to add another one and another one...
