Great news! Ariel had a horrible bout of giardia when she was young. Even the vet was baffled as to why it wouldn’t clear up. She’s been fine since thankfully. Hope she continues to improve!
Good news, hope she continues to improve throughout today. We've had a good 10 inches of snow here, a first for Cassie as well, excitement levels well over threshold!
Red continues to get better . She had her first poo this morning since Friday which I was pleased about - sorry, I get a bit obsessive about her plumbing. She is still taking her medications and i/d food and yesterday she slept a lot. She had her normal walks though. She is very quiet. This morning she play bowed in front of Sky so was up for a play - Sky looked most affronted and got in her bed - Red went and got in her bed I think I will wait until tomorrow before I start reintroducing her kibble. I hope that as soon as she is 100% better, she will start to put on the weight she has lost. Thank you everyone for your kind wishes.
Glad to hear she’s still on the mend, and now wanting to play...yay! And, has pooed. They’re such a worry when they’re sick. Hope she, and you, have a great day!
Well I don’t know what to think. Red has had another quiet day but been ok. Then at 5.00 she had a very loose poo. She has just had another that is even worse. I knew something was bothering her as she’s normally asleep all evening - this evening she has been lying in her bed but looking at me. When I said ‘what’s the matter Red?’, she got out of her bed and came and sat beside me. I gave her a cuddle but I could tell she wasn’t feeling well. I asked if she wanted to go outside and she got up and moved to the door. This is grim - worse than any of the problems we had earlier in the year. I will see how the night goes and how she is in the morning but I think we are going to need to go back to the vets .
