    Hi All,
I am loving Pippa's book Total Recall. We're in day 4 and today I began working on exercise 2. My girl salivates when I take my whistle in my mouth. When I placed her bowl in front of her, she just looked at me like, wtf?

Sorry, what I mean is that instead of a premium treat it was kibble, for the moving dinner exercise and she looked so dissapointed.

We start with just kibble and the whistle at meal times. Once the whistle is associated with meals we start using it with recall - as they run back at first, but also just with kibble. Eventually to call them back in easy environments, getting harder slowly.

Jackpot treats get introduced as the tasks get harder (recall from distractions). Sometimes jackpot, sometimes kibble, sometimes kibble kibble kibble kibble :)

The meal time whistle carries on life-long.
