[/quote] If I were to play tug with my dogs, which I am not :, and if the dog really loves it then I would use it as a reward. Some of the top agility trainers use it as an easy recyclable reward. But very strict rules apply as described by previous posts. I wouldn't use it to try and tire out a puppy. There is a danger that it might actually do the opposite and really hype up the pup.
