Hmmm. I suggest you find a good dog school that will teach you how dogs learn. And at the same time, watch and give you guidance as you implement the lessons.
I give him treats but I don't know if their tasty basic commands like sit and to come back when I call him? he is very friendly but some people dont like it. in person dog training classes are difficult for me I dont drive. thank you for your replies.
Hi Tilly. It sounds like you might find Pippa's book "Total Recall" helpful. It's about teaching your dog to come when they are called. But it's got a lot of information about how dogs learn, and how to teach your dog to do as you ask in distracting places, that you might find useful too
