I hugely appreciate Pippa's generosity in not only providing the forum but for allowing us to discuss and share with no regard for her own business.

    Therefore....

I thought a pinned post on book reviews would be useful? We could do an Amazon type review or just a star rating. There are so many books out there, some good, some not so good so might be useful to hear how our members have found things?

    I'll start
The Happy Puppy Handbook, Pippa Mattinson
    Rating: 5*
Best for: complete newbies or those who haven't had a pup for a while and have forgotten what it's like. Great for bringing you up to speed with the latest thinking on puppy raising / basics.

The Pet Gundog Puppy, Lez Graham
    Rating: 4*
Best for: Gundog owners but well worth a read for any new puppy owner. Maybe not the best for complete newbies but with a modicum of common sense all the basics are well covered.

    The Pet Gundog, Lez Graham
    Rating: 5*
Best for: those who have got past the puppy stage and are confident in themselves and their grasp of the basics. A great book to take you further.

There more, but I don't want to be boring and thought I'd leave Total Recall for someone else.

The Truth About Wolves and Dogs (packed away for having new floor laid and can't tell you the author.
5* Dispels earlier theories about how wolves and dogs behave in packs.
