I want to teach my lovely 16 week boy to play fetch, as he does love to chase after balls and toys! We do walk him daily usually but we drive to a park since my road is very busy. Sometimes we don't have time to go and playing in our yard is a better choice. He'll chase the ball, occasionally run back with it but then he'll get tired of picking it up and he'll just chase it and either keep running or return to me without the ball! We do use a clicker. Does anyone have any good articles or advice for teaching this?

It sounds really silly but Ella learnt to play fetch from playing with another lab. He would chase and bring back the ball and she chased him! After a couple of play dates, she started to bring the ball back too!
