Kate, I bought my sea biscuits on Ebay 1kg for £10.00 with free P&P and they are exactly the same as the Fish4Dogs ones. I also bought the fish skin strip 1kg for £18.00.
My dogs love them. I also bought the sprats that Heidrun linked 2kg for £25 always a winner :D x

I've just done a quick search on ebay and only the fish4dogs ones come up. Are they called sea biscuits or something else? Or better still do you know the seller?

    Many thanks

    Jan

Thank you everyone for your replies!! Didn't get a chance yesterday to read or reply as Juno got the attack of the squits really runny/watery poos (going 4 times in a couple of hours) :-\ not sure why as haven't changed anything in her diet, the only thing I can think of is that she has eaten something in the garden. She is fine in herself so not too worried... But I was up at 6 am boiling chicken and rice so we will see how it goes today! Sorry off topic...

I will definitely try these treats they look perfect for everyday rewards!! I like you can give up to 100 a day we seem to go through treats like no tomorrow!

I use the barker and barker ones that have been mentioned on here a few times. I think the most popular ones are the little liver pills but I tend to use the fish flavour ones.

The smallest size are the best as they give you a quick treat and you can use loads of them - I think the allowance is like up to 100 per day for a dog the size of a lab.

Their delivery times are excellent too - I ordered some on a Monday and they were delivered the next day!!

And like the idea of going to the reduced isle at the supermarket to get the cheap meat, cooking it, cutting it up and freezing then can defrost little bits and use it for high value treats! Be perfect when we do recall beyond the safety of the garden!! Thanks guys!!

I either use the kibble from his daily foid or chopped up carrot which he loves. Hope this helps.

Hi Jan, sorry they are called Fish Skin Cubes and the seller is Natural pet products but they are now £13.99 per 1kg but still massively cheaper than Fish4Dogs. They also sell some other 100% natural fish treats. I also bought the Fish Skin Strips which mine absolutely love. Hope you find what you are looking for. xx :)

I use kibble out of her allowance mainly.

Cream cheese or sausage for a jackpot.

Tuna cake for a super jackpot.

Dried tripe for heaven heaven heaven heaven (according to Tatze, stinky stink stink, yuk according to me!)

Besides using a portion of her daily ration of kibble, I buy turkey hotdogs and cut them into slices about 1/8 inch thick. Put them on a paper towel on a plate in the microwave oven. Cook 2 minutes at a time until they are dehydrated. A full dinner plate cooks in about 6 minutes. They store in a cookie jar on the counter. I even break one in half and it's a special treat for my year old Yellow Lab Daisy.

Right now, blackberries plucked from the hedgerow. I reckon I look a strange sight, wandering along and apparently sharing the dogs food :)

I've been looking for some dried sprats to use that people have mentioned - but Mariners Choice (which I think Heidrun mentioned) say "out of stock". Which company to people use for dried sprats?

Julie, take a look on EBay because pet stores and the Natural Pet Company sell on there and do lots of dried fish cubes which are the same as Fish4Dogs and so much cheaper and very often free P&P. I have bought them and they are brilliant for training. They sell dried fish sticks which are really a favourite here, cubes, fingers etc. I have seen dried sprats too. :) x
