I wanted some advice about how to train both my terriers at same time for total recall. One is very good now - the other very stubborn
Hi @Cecely welcome to the forum. I am not exactly clear on your objective. But if you mean how should one train the stubborn one to always come, I'd train her on her own until it is complying consistently. I wouldn't have the other dog around at all. Use a long line and plenty of treats the stubborn one really likes. When that dog comes consistently I would then attempt to recall both dogs at the same time. I would have a long line even then on the stubborn one. I would only go off lead when both dogs have rock solid recalls.
