We have a lab mix rescue puppy who is four months old. She was spayed on Monday 3/23 under the terms of our adoption, and also received a rabies vaccine and microchip. We’ve been told to restrict her activity and exercise for two weeks, but that’s easier said than done. She is very playful and accustomed to walking 30-60 minutes every day as well as a couple of play sessions of fetch or other games. The veterinarian gave us some doggy downers (sedative), which is helping some, but she still wants to play and zoom around the house at times. We’ve also been crating her when she gets too active, and fortunately she likes her crate. Any other suggestions?
