Re: Tug of war? Good discussion. I'm with the camp that if there's any doubt, it isn't worth the risk but our dogs are gun dogs and it does matter to me. Of course, it may all just be an urban myth! I'd be more worried, if hard / soft mouth doesn't matter to you so much, about the risk of damaging the developing jaw ligaments. I'm sure there's an article on the site that covers this but I may have read it elsewhere. Either way, search for it on the web, there's a few articles that are easily enough found.
Re: Tug of war? Thanks for the additional thoughts and comments We've decided not to play tug of war with her. I have also punctured a couple of her squeaky toys because A. they wind her up, and B. They are just bloody annoying!!! ;D
