Your photos of Twiglet are wonderful.....she is soooo big! I remember her favorite racoon!!! and it looked as though she never destroyed her teddy bear, either! I envy that.....mine tears everything apart that he can! Congratulations.....she is beautiful, healthy and looks very smart.

She's now a toy destroyer Yvonne!

It started two weeks ago. All soft toys have been put away for the next pup. I have a couple which I get out to play with her, but I can only leave her with nylabones and kongs and very thick rope toys, even when I'm in the same room!

Twiglet has just returned from hospital, where she met three of her siblings. They have all spent 24 hours on heart monitors as one of their sisters has been withdrawn due to arrhythmia. She will be found a forever home as a pet and have to be on beta-blockers.

They said Twiglet was good as gold and loved playing with her brothers and sisters before and after the tests. We won't know if she has the all-clear for a while as the data has to be sent to specialists. I think she will be fine as she has no symptoms whatsoever. They did a very thorough health check, groomed her and cut her claws. The report said she had a little staining round her vulva and I need to wipe it more often as she doesn't lick herself much at all (monkey!).

She now has a big shaved patch either side of her chest, which is clearly very itchy, poor wee love.

When we went to pick Twiglet and Rossi up (his puppy walker lives near us) we met their sister, Ray, who is tiny and gorgeous Rossi is huge and very boistrous! They don't really look like siblings at all.

    :)

Hope the news is good from the tests - fingers crossed or all of them. Interesting to hear that a sister is small and a brother is large, goes to show that with a cross you can get quite a mix of puppies that bear no relation to each other. Would be lovely to see a photo of them all together as little pups and then as they get older.

It is and it would, but I doubt if we will see Ray again :(

I would love Twiglet's name to have been Ray! It was my Mum's name and if I could ever afford to name a puppy that would be it!
