It's a shame that you can't help to name the pups. Perhaps Tatze needs a little sister on a permanent basis ;)

Well, miniature dachshunds don't exactly take up a lot of space... ;)

Oh, I like them too but quite fancy a French Bulldog - just love the ears :). So have you been looking into breeders? Important question to gauge how strong you are being :D:D

Thank you - she seems to have stopped itching now too, luckily her jacket will cover the two huge bare patches of skin!

Thanks Julie, I am fairly confident they will be. The sibling with the arrhythmia kept collapsing after exercise, Twiglet has no symptoms at all and the vet said her heart sounded just fine through his stethoscope :)

It's a strange feeling having a dog from a tiny pup that's not your own.

When she went for her heart monitor they groomed her and trimmed her claws. It felt odd that they hadn't asked me if they could! Of course not - she's their dog!

Mags, just been looking at the pictures of Twiglet, she's super gorgeous. Yes, it must be very strange to care and look after a dog, but it belongs to someone else! You do an amazing job :)

Thank you Debs - it's the best job in the world - until they have to go to Big School!

Twiglet has never had a crate, but she decided to share Tatze's this cold and rainy afternoon!

What a beautiful pair of girls :D. I still don't know how you give up young gorgeous girl for her to go to Big School - makes me sad thinking of it, and I know they are going on to do a fantastic job and change someone's life but .......

It's the question puppy walkers get asked all the time.

My answer is 'with a broken heart'.

Also - we sign a paper promising not to run off with them lol!

But seeing Gypsy work and meeting her one last time was one of the proudest moments of my life - never to be forgotten. Tomorrow she starts the last stage of training with her new owner, learning their routes. She's already living with the family. Then they are up and 'running' hopefully for a long and happy partnership. I was asked if I want her back when she retires if her owner is unable to keep her. My answer? YES!

Tatze and Twiglet look so lovely snuggled together in the crate. Tatze seems to be an excellent 'big sister'.
It's good to hear that Gyspy's now with her new owner - you must be so proud of her.
