Up in the night for dodgy tummies last night :(

Off to the vet once they open today.

Both dogs have had dodgy bums so I starved them last night. Riley was up in the night with gas production to rival the North Sea, he was also a bit sick but had nothing to bring up. Obi hasn't been sick but there's quite a lot of mucus in his runny poo.

Hopefully it's just some dodgy puddle or plant pot water and we'll all have more sleep tonight! I've emptied all the water I can find in the garden in plant pots or buckets (bloody builders!).

Double trouble with two Barbara. Sorry they're both not well I'm sure the vet will sort them out. ABs and pro kolin should sort it that's what is usually prescribed for colitis which Obi's sounds like. Obviously something they've both had their noses in. Fingers crossed it's settled for tonight.

Oh, oh. It was like that at our house yesterday. Only one but it was the oldest cat, 19. Very worrying, we went to the Vet as well. Just as we were getting ready to leave Bitty produced one solid poop and seemed immediately relieved. I took it with me and we went anyway. Vet gave her liquid and medicine to stop the diarrhoea, we went home and she didn't really pick up till last night but seems all right this morning. I had a lot of laundry to do and may throw out one small rug that's old anyway.

Hope your two resolve as quickly. When it's two all of a sudden you do have to wonder if they might have eaten something. Any update?

Vet not overly concerned. Temperatures normal, not dehydrated, gums nice and pink.

Drugs to settle lower intestine and ProK to bung them up. Small frequent meals of rice and chicken.

I think Obi is on the up already, Riley still feeling poorly.

Pleased to hear this Barbara , ProK is magic stuff for bunging up, always a tube in our fridge, now well labelled since Paul once used it in error, thinking it was garlic paste

I hope they are both back to their normal bouncy selves soon. I'm sorry to hear that both Obi and Riley are poorly.
