Since I spotted Millie on the shelter website Our little ragbag has had her fair share of trauma , two major operations haven't damped her spirits though , but she has come a very long way indeed . Millie was quite reactive , was afraid of her own shadow at times but slow, kind training has paid dividends . She is a happy little soul , adores Sam , hero worships him actually, and he has taught her so much, including how to trust . She is no spring chicken and sometimes I do wish we knew more about her background, her age and past life but never mind , she lives the life of riley now and that's what matters
Oh Kate, surely it's not two years already??? Dear little Miss Millie - what a happy day that was that you first saw her, for all of you!
Happy 2nd Gotcha Day Millie! We find ourselves wondering about Caspers past too..he has such odd foibles!.Doesn't take anything away from his amazing personalty though I find myself wondering what is going behind his beautiful wise brown eyes of his, then laugh at myself. probably wondering when the next venison stick is going to appear.and if he stares at me hard enough it might speed things along a bit.....
Those two years have gone so quickly. She looks such a happy little soul in her photo. If only we could ask them what life they led before.
What a happy looking girl. I think I prefer the photo that shows off her lovely overbite, though. What character!
