hi everyone! back from a while ago :)

we are looking to adopt an older lab. i'm wondering (if you can tell from the picture), do you think this guy looks underweight? we haven't met him yet. he's 5.

Hello there. It's difficult to tell - he looks like he may be a bit from the first one, but the perspective of the photo may be influencing that. He doesn't look terribly underweight in the second photo; you can't see his ribs at all. Those claws need some desperate attention, though!

Why is he up for adoption? Is it the current owner that has him now, or is he in a shelter?

I don't think he looks too underweight, but those claws can't be comfortable for him. His coat looks nice and shiny. And what a beautiful face he has!

He looks slim, that's good. Difficult to tell whether too slim, not obviously. Agree about the claws! Poor lad. He looks lovely. I hope you get him and trim those claws! (Carefully).

Wonder if he's a bit short of muscle tone, hence looking a bit scraggy. On the basis of the claws, may be not had much exercise.

yah, apparently they don't walk the dogs because they said they dont know if he's good on leash :O . They must just let their dogs play in the yard :\ That could explain low muscle tone also.
