Just to let you know that the forum is 'moving house' over the next day or two to its own dedicated website. I'll post up the new web address on Facebook as soon as it is live. If you are not on facebook, don't worry, there will be a redirect set up to ensure that anyone coming to the old address gets transferred to the new. We will probably need to halt postings for a brief time in order to get a clean snapshot of the database, and make sure none of the posts are lost in the transfer. Our web developer tells me that the time lapse may vary depending on where you are and could for some people be 24 hours or so. But we will try and keep any downtime to an absolute minimum. I hope it will all go smoothly but please bear with us. The dedicated site will benefit the forum in the long run and give us space to grow. Thank you all very much for your patience. Pippa
PLEASE READ: The forum is moving house The new forum is now set up in it's new home! It is undergoing some final tests and we hope to make the switch tomorrow morning. There will be an hour or so of downtime whilst we stop you all posting, take a final copy of the database, and instal it on the new server. This simply ensures that no-one's posts go missing. The new address will be thelabradorforum.com - this is not yet live so there is no point clicking on it yet If there are any problems, I'll post up on Facebook and my Twitter page
Re: UPDATE - PLEASE READ: The forum is moving house Good luck! Will this make navigating through the threads quicker? Hope so...seems like I have limited forum time these days and I can't get through many of the posts due to waiting for them to load. Could be the iPad, though, not sure....
