My 6 month old Labrador picks everything up and eats it before I can get it off her I don't know if this is the reason she comes down with formed but very loose poop or whether it's the food she has Canine max junior.can anyone enlighten me please..
Hi, it could be either of those things. If you are over feeding they can get loose poo, but so can scavenging whilst on walks. You need to train a 'leave it' cue to stop her picking random things up. Take some really tasty treats and just as you see her go for something say 'leave it' and give her a treat and really praise her. It will take time for her to understand this, but better to teach now rather than after she makes herself poorly. With her food, do you feed the amount stated on the packet?
