    Hi all,

OK, having read about the advantages of a house line in various posts I thought I'd get one for young Harvey. Unfortunately he doesn't seem overly impressed! ::) He seems to think that it is some sort of mobile chew toy that never leaves his side ;)

What's the best approach here? Just leave it on him in hopes he'll calm down and stop chewing it? Physically stop him from chewing it and reward him for not doing it? Something else entirely? ...

Charlie wears a 12in light lead with a loop in it when we have the need. It was as cheap as chips and we just let him chew it. That's probably very bad though. :-[. When he is on his harness, rather than a lead, we tuck it in the back of his harness and he can't reach it.
