David took Charlie out for a late evening walk last night as it was extremely hot here. He came back looking pretty pleased with himself (David not Charlie ) Charlie had spotted a Pheasant and started to run, David verbally recalled him, he slammed on the brakes and returned to him immediately for a massive squirt of Primula He met an 11 month old extremely over weight Labrador pup who was all over Charlie and he just sat and let her do whatever she wanted What has happened to our Charlie!!
It is possible that aliens have landed and taken Charlie away and replaced him with a new, super-obedient model. Upon reflection that seems unlikely, so the only explanation I can come up with is that all your training and patience must be paying off! Good boy Charlie, way to go!!!
Thanks everyone as always we appreciate your support Karen, my first thought was aliens too and I am still not ruling that out Super obedient is stretching it and if that ever happens I will know for sure it's an alien abduction! I will pass your lovely kind words onto David and Grace as we are a group effort xx
