Re: Visit to the UK Ok, here are the photos from Dorset, taken today: Poppy at the lake: Walking through the sheep field: View of the castle:
Re: Visit to the UK Looks lovely. Liking the loose lead walking past the sheep. We are off for a few days - the lady at the adjacent farmhouse says they have 4.5 acres enclosed garden....and a golden retriever.....and free-range chickens (reassured me that the latter were only out from lunchtime to dark ;D ) Not nearly as impressive as a country estate, but looking forward to some R&R.
Re: Visit to the UK Great pics. Poppy has a lovely smile and a very sweet face. And impressively muscly shoulders
Re: Visit to the UK Yes, Poppy says she loves England and wants to move here. She has become a lot more self-confident during her visit. Did some VERY impressive blind retrieves out of the river this morning, and then saw off a big German Shepherd who tried to muscle in on her dummies... Back to Sussex this afternoon, then we are driving back to Frankfurt tomorrow. But we'll be back next weekend for another week, so it'll be UK Visit Part 2...
Re: Visit to the UK Sorry Karen I'm so rushing at the moment...didn't see the previous post about the gun work....bet you are really pleased xxx
Re: Visit to the UK Back home, all well (though I am exhausted...). I was just going to write about how good the channel tunnel crossing is, but I think I'll put it under the 'Dog Friendly' section, in case anyone is thinking about taking their dogs to Europe.
Re: Visit to the UK Glad to hear that you are home safe and sound , you must all be quite shattered . The photos are so lovely Karen , Poppy is looking very grown up now , beautiful scenery too, love Dorset
