Walking past people and dogs

    Yes it is hard to transition but if you go out enough in public and work on it it will get easier. I tell all my students to head to parking lots busy downtown areas and work on everything we are doing in class. If you teach something in the kitchen you need to teach it everyroom and every place. Glad to know someone else does this too.

    Yes, a lot of my Saturday training class is doing this and similar exercises, it's helped a great deal. Cassie still is very keen to meet other dogs and is inclined to pull me towards them, which I'm trying to work on, but she is improving to the extent that yesterday at agility (different group) she got complimented on how well she greets other dogs!

    But it has been hard graft!
