one of the things I’d like to teach my puppy is to walk properly on a leash. I’ve search the forum and I see a lot of posts on loose leash walking but I’m looking for Information on just starting leash training. I am able to put the harness on and I’d like to start some training in the house and in our front yard. She is only 9 weeks old so I’m restricted on where I can take her now but want to get started.
I train heel to lab pups off lead using treats to lure the pup into position. I only pop the lead on when they have grasped the concept of "heel".
