I hope I haven't messed anything up but you had a duplicate of your original post so I've removed it.

I'm not sure I can help with your problem either but I do have a question about it. Does he ever do 'normal' pees aswell?

If so you could put a command word to that and basically treat his constant peeing like house training. Take him out often and use your 'pee command' when he goes normally and hopefully the peeing while walking will fade out. Once you think he's always peeing outside you can start to sttch the time between trips....

Hi Di and welcome to the forum. :D
With regards to training your guys I would split them up and train them individually, it will be far more beneficial. ;D I once had two springers from the same litter and it was hard work for the first couple of years.
Sorry, but I have got no advice with regards to the weeing whilst on the move. But maybe it is something that will settle down once you start taking them out separately, for training and toilet breaks. :D

Hi there Di (and presumably Ollie and Jack)
Welcome to the Forum. Sorry I can't be of any help, but we seem to be collecting more sibs on the forum.
Is that now 2 pairs of brothers and 1 pair of sisters?
Hopefully some more advice will be forthcoming, but I would always vote with Heidrun's advice, its always sound.

My boy, Charlie, 7 months "peeps and walks" a lot, when he needs a pee or is starting to mark in a baby way, but there is so much going on he isn't going to stop. On the beach in particular, there is no way he is going to stop on his way to say hello to another dog/investigate a rotting pile of seaweed etc. so he goes on the move. Vet said Charlie is fine, and is just over excited - and it's exactly as it looks, too much going on to stop.

He doesn't do it when there isn't so much going on, or inside.

Dunno, but would have thought the peeing inside is the problem, rather than peeing and walking? If the vet says there is nothing else wrong.

    Hello

Yep, I have the sisters, Dido and Hester, currently four months.

Hester does most of her wee but will 'waddle' about finishing off, and she doesn't seem as aware of 'how full' she is as Dido. Dido asks to go out to puddle, Hester very rarely - she goes out with Dido and usually but not always puddles. We have had a few accidents where she's been over full (despite opportunities) and we get excited dribbling.

Maia (my 13 yo) is also unaware, if I forget her puddle time (11am, 3pm and 8pm, she's as regular as clockwork - as well as first thing, after meals and just before bed plus any on walks!) we'll get little dribbles.
However, if they're shut in their doghouse when we're out she can miss puddle times without any major problems, I suppose it's the difference between sleeping and active -even if being active is only dozing on the kitchen floor!

So maybe try a set routine for puddle time. Watch when they do their biggest puddles, or dash out faster than at other times, and try to get him out just before that. My girls are trained like guide dogs to puddle on command, and, like the guide dogs, we use "busy, busy". So every time they're out they get a "good girl, busy, busy" when they puddle and before long they will squat and squeeze on a "busy, busy" command. It worked on our wolfhound boy too. I also make sure that they've been out and had the opportunity to empty before introducing anything exciting, toys, people, playtime or food; and again as soon as it's over.

    Good luck
    Kerryn

Plus Maia, Hebe (6) and Dido and Hester (4 months)

Hi everyone, thank you for the advice,
I will look out for when he wants to go, he's just starting to cock his leg but gives up as he wants to wander... He can almost sign his name lol... So much of it...
I have started taking them out separately as Ollie can be let off the lead ,but jack the wanderer can't be as he doesn't come back yet... It's more difficult to train seperately but I'm persevering ... Thank again , I'm sure you will hear from me lots more, so hope you don't mind....
I'm so glad to be able to ask advice...
Keep up the good work all involved xx di

Sorry Barbara, yes he asks to go out, and will do a wee, "normally" ... When he wanders , there is no reason , I can see... Not excited or anything...xx di
