Are a dog's ears meant to be warm?
When I hold Pongo's ears in my hands they are always noticeably warm. Is everyone else's pup the same?

(A labrador's ears are just the most lovely, soft things to stroke, aren't they?)

Casper has the most beautiful soft ears, they are huge too. He puts his big head in my lap, snores happily whist I stroke his velvet ears :)

And they can be a bit wet too, if YOU are a sloppy, slurpy kisser. :)

If Obi's ears are cold then the rest of him is cold. So, ears should be a bit warm I'd say :)

YES!!!! I just love that velvety feeling. This is definitely a statement that deserves to stand proud without parentheses/brackets!

Snowie's ears used to be very hot. They are much cooler now and he's much happier being cooler. I believe he cooled down from the epilepsy meds -- apparently epi meds do cool the body. They do warm up when his allergies flare up and they get fiery red. When his ears are really cool and pale pink then I'm much happier cos I think he's more comfortable, and he also then likes to lie on the bed and cuddle (I suppose he's cold!).

I've often wondered about Homers ears being warm. They are so silky soft.

Cruella de Vil really had the wrong idea. She should have tried making her coats out of Labrador ears (I haven't spent any time pondering this...honest).

Very small coat, though, even with 202 ears.
And she only ever had 98 dogs, so that's only 196 ears.
    Perhaps a hat and gloves?

Oh dear, this is terrible. I'm going to stop now.

Coco has lovely soft, warm Labrador ears, though they don't always hang like a Labrador's.. Belle's head used to go really warm when she was enjoying a rub of the head or ears.
