Re: Wary of certain people I'm the same Helen. All the dogs I know watch my left hand. If it goes in the pocket yippee treats. ;D Our old postman always had dog biscuits aswell. Murphy would pull me down the lane if he saw his van stopped. ;D Wow Jacqui that photo brings back memories. I think I went to Inveraray every year from the age of 8 to 31!!! We always went on holiday to Loch Awe roughly half way between inveraray and Oban. Happy days. ;D. My old lab loved swimming for his ball in the loch. Such fun. ;D

I'm sure the sweets have changed, but other than that it is still pretty traditional. I love the west coast.

Re: Wary of certain people Jen, now I have this image of conscientious dog owners foisting little treat bags on unsuspecting random members of the public Inveraray - brings back memories for me too. Irn Bru, made in Scotland, from girders.
Re: Wary of certain people Gosh, I'd have barked at that sweet lady! ;D ;D ;D I think statues can be scary - Chalie isn't wary of much, but we had to put sea biscuits on the paws of stone lions when we first met them. Then he was ok to pee on them next time. ;D I think Rachael said Obi has a treat dispensing barky statue too, and even Karen's poppy (might have misremembered that though).
