Larks, myself and my OH have all made it 4 months together! I sometimes thought we would never make it but here we are all the same. Potty training is going very well. Hadn't had an accident in nearly 4 weeks and then today she jumped up on the couch, looked at me and peed on a blanket! (Sigh) The chewing is outrageous right now and I feel like all I do is take kids toys away from her and give her one of hers to chew all day. Recently she has stopped settling down during the day on her own. She used to nap from 9:30-11 ish and again from 2:30-4 ish. Is this just because she needs less sleep or should I crate her and keep her on a sort of schedule? So thankful for this forum while going through this puppy madness!
Woohoo! Scully is 4 months tomorrow and she's started to destroy some of her toys now. We don't have kids, and pretty much anything furry is hers, so we leave her to it (unless the stuffing comes out). Can't help with the napping, I think she just sleeps when there's nothing going on and there's no sign of food.
I have to laugh because as I'm reading this, I'm trying to keep Libby occupied and work from home at the same time. She turned 4 months last week. The biting is still off the scale, although some days are better than others. Yesterday was NOT good and she ended up in full-blown zoomies about 9:30 last night when it was time for bed. A month ago she would have been sleeping right now so I could get some work done but the naps seem to be fewer and fewer all the time. I tried taking her for walk before I started working this morning but she walked a block and wanted to come home. Next walk is at noon during lunch. Right now, the office door is closed..................
So funny because Larks was OFF THE WALL crazy today while I was trying to work. Digging in the garden, racing up and down the stairs, counter/table surfing, you name it she probably did it this morning. She finally fell asleep about 2 hours ago and has been passed out ever since.
