Um i am not sure, the garage is over run with food, just enough room for the toilet and a person to go to the toilet but that is about it, not enough room so swing a cat so not much but enough.

Dad finally got the computer fixed so uploading photos will be a lot easier now.

Barley says no to rileys kind offer, he says it all his, puzzle got growled at when she sniffed it, so don't want to see the outcome of riley trying to eat some. Yes i did make i nice mountain out of the wet food and took a photo of it, then layed it all out on the living room floor so you can see how much there is :)

Riley says he quite understands, if Barley changes his mind he's available at short notice ;)

considering the lot of food we have will last him between 10-12 months, no more food buying for a while.

barley still declines riley's offer as he has his own personal hoover at home, who has helped him come to realise that very low value treats are not worth growling over as they both get them and we have lots of them

i don't know about sharing but he has learnt that puzzle eats a lot quicker than he does and will try to steal his, we try to stop her but she will sometimes grab a few bits of treat that he has dropped. Low value stuff is fine, higher value stuff is when the growls start coming out. Puzzle is also a lot quicker to pounce on a treat that has fallen to the floor so he has given up on making a dive for it as he has no chance

here's what that amount of wet food pouches looks like in a giant heap

Does commercial food go off? I remember David's thread about some food that Lady wouldn't eat because it had gone off… Made me worry, since we have a huge sack of dog food that was in the garage - it is now upstairs in one of the spare bedrooms, to save it from the mice and damp! Hopefully your store of dog food is somewhere dry and safe, Annabelle! :)

Yes it does go off Karen, we had a bag go off when Hattie was younger, she turned her nose up for a few days until I realised it was the food. Had a sniff and it was that musty smell. Happened to David a couple of weeks ago too. x

Karen the moist mince is sealed in plastic bags, as it is moist. It has dates until dec 2016 so it should be fine by summer this year

That should be ok then Annabelle. Helen, here's hoping our very expensive food stays ok then!
