    Hi,

I am trying not to be overprotective but I was wondering if anyone has the same experience as I have with Finn. When he has to wee I have sometimes to wait 5 minutes or more until he finished weeing. Sometimes it takes longer... He doesn't 'flag' or 'mark' his way...
He doesn't have a uti. He drinks on the other hand much... Is someone amongst you that can explain why he is doing this, is he I'll? Do I have to go with him to a vet?

He is not looking ill, he is full of joy!

    Annemarie

Can you explain this a little more Annemarie?
Does he do one long low power wee that goes on for ages? (I am sure 5 minutes must be a record if so)
Or does he do lots of little wees over a period of 5 minutes or more?

Ella's best buddy Hamish (four year old desexed male chocolate lab) does the longest wee first thing in the morning! It goes on for an incredible length of time. It's just one long wee, no stops and starts. Is that what you meant with Finn?

Yes, that is what he does. But not only in the mornings, but every time I take him for a walk. He does one long wee, it takes sometimes 5 minutes. For me it looks like ages... No stops and starts...

He is a neutered male of 2 years... He does this since a couple of months now. Sometimes it is back to normal like little wees along the trail we walk.
