I like this!!!
Oh Hattie! You are so gorgeous, we really need to see more of you! (well that's what Casper says! )
Love this thread.
Hattie has the most magnificent ears!
Hattie looks so proud of her uniform. What a great girl.
This was Tess , my lovely girl who preceded Sam , she was about ten years old in this photo , much loved x
Oh Tess was beautiful, and full of fun by the looks of her xx
Great photos of Hattie (what a girl!!!), and of beautiful Tess, still playful at 10!
What a lovely idea. It goes without saying puppy photos are the cutest ever, but there is something so beautiful and serene in photos of older dogs. If Labradors can be described as serene that is!
I hope its alright to post a photo of Millie ? She was our darling rescue girl who had three wonderful years with us . We lost her nine months ago aged about 12, but how she enhanced our lives , Sams too , such a mischievous and happy little scamp
It's always OK to post pictures of Millie. Such a sweetheart. That photo of Millie "smiling" at the camera with her little teeth showing is still one of my favourite pictures of all time
She was a beauty , such a lovely face
This one Fiona ?
Aww beautiful Millie, she had such a character and a cheeky little face Any more photo's of Millie and some with Sam would be lovely? xx
I was going to put a photo of my late Robbie but my forum supporters band has gone, so can't. Can anyone help please?
That's the one! What a face!
This is my Darling Robbie.
Wonderful seeing all the photos and hearing about the older pups. The babies are gorgeous but there's nothing that beats the character in a face with a bit of grey and wisdom. Or just grey with silliness perfected with age, depending on the dog.
I've already posted plenty (hundreds?) of photos of Brogan as an oldster, but here is one of my favourites. He was 12, taken our last spring in Spain together. He loved to walk through the surf as he's doing here, though heaven forbid he'd actually get in deeper than his knees. Scary!
I love the expression on his face, but also that he's got on his cowboy bandana (he was a bit of a cow magnet - the babies especially would follow him around) and his tag showing just right that says, "geliebt" or "beloved" in German. He was indeed that.
They are just beautiful !!!
