Re: well well well who would have thought it Dexter was going to be Dexter or Jasper...i remember mcvities doing a biscuit called Jasper's when I was younger and thinking that was a really good name for a dog ;D dexter got 2 votes though so dexter it was.Chris was so happy I agreed to get him he would have let me call him anything.I've said it before but Dex also answers to Pops in the house because when I'm chattering to him I call him MR Pops or Mr Popsicle...don't know why.....for his commands he is always a clear Dexter!Betty who minds him when we are away calls him the big boy!he is tiny compared to your Jasper so I don't know what she would call him!

He was gorgeous, a big yellow male, but the breeders had not tested the parents for hip or elbow dysplasia and we just didnt have a good feeling about the whole set up. The OH really talked me out of it. We searched and searched for a working strain pup from parents we liked and looked at six or seven litters. Eventually we heard about Poppy's litter, OH knew the breeder from shooting. The pups had not been advertised, it was all by word of mouth. They were three weeks old and Poppy was the only one not taken yet, so there was no choice!

Re: well well well who would have thought it Yes, the boys came with us to see Amy. Oliver mentions it everyday, he wants to take her back for a visit. The whole puppy idea came from Toby wanted a guinea pig. After pricing and reading up I said I would rather have a dog!
