Most people on our various walks pick up after their dogs. But if I do come across a poo from another dog I pick it up and feel VERY virtuous about it!

My reasons are 1. People tend to keep a tidy place tidy. 2. I don't want folk to think it was us!!

I organise my walks so that when I know Lilly is due a poop I will bag it and leave it then back track to pick up on the return.
If she is less likely to poop I do a circular and just have to lump it and carry if I miscalculated.
Really peeved that she has taken to pooping in the shallow water at the beach though :( :( Can't retrieve them. Been walking on a people beach lately and wishing I had a poop on cue :/

I just carry mine, then pop it in a bin if I pass one. If it's a "there-and-back" walk, and the poo is produced near the beginning of the walk, I will bag it, hide it and pick it up on the way back (never forgotten!). There are a couple of walks we do without bins so I have to carry it home in the car - that can be whiffy. Doesn't bother me carrying a bag of dog-poo, I'm used to it now.
Sometimes I imagine a dainty dog harness with little loops on that I can hang the bag(s) on.....
