Cuillin is named after the Cuillin mountains on Skye, her breeders used to do mountain rescue work with their dogs and cuillin looks like she belongs in the mountains... Brodick is a place on the isle of Arran, it means broad bay in Norse, brods is a skinny long man so doesnt look like his nam but boy does he live up to his KC name - (kennel name) Jumping Jupiter....

My previous two springers were called Aggie and Misty, they grew up with my horse called Christie (who is still alive). I'm a big fan of a detective novels, hence the names Agatha, Christie, Mystery, just shortened a bit. :)

Alice is part of Alice's KC name and really suits her. She is a very elegant dog and Alice means 'of nobility'.

Caddie was named by my husband. He is a golfer. ;)

Murffi came with his name. He was bred in Wales, hence the funny spelling. I really suits him. ;D

All the puppies in Ziggy's litter were named after grouse moors and Ziggy's KC name is Rinnes. But with his eye patch he just had to be Ziggy Stardust. :D

Yes, I've never wanted to play golf or caddie for him, so he had hopes of a spaniel finding lost golf balls for him. ;D
