Hi guys,Thanks for all the replies, good news is ,no foul gas nor runny poo for the past 5 days,the cure was so simple I'm waiting for it to go wrong again lol.An old guy advised I should not feed him his dry food dry even now he's older but to soak it first,from that first bowl of soaked food everything has returned to normal,he's calmer,sleeping more,and his poo is formed and firm,I hope it's not a fluke but for now it's great stress free
Perhaps so, but still working and I've changed nothing else, he seems more satisfied after his meal and not gulping his kibble or water, and thank heavens no more gas ,I'm sure there's a bit of science behind it,he used to gulp down loads of water before, to the point I used a slow feeder bowl for water too,fingers crossed its solved long term
