Part fruit bat I reckon Those ears, so cute!

 

A cross between Cute, Adorable and I'm-in-love. Collie/Lab/Shepherd - but 28 pounds sounds big for one so young - so maybe some Dane in there?

 

Whatever he is, he is ADORABLE!!! What's his name?

I'd say part Podenco with those ears, but that's very unlikely if you're in the USA.
He's lovely, either way

Her name is Trixie and she is a girl

We are indeed in the US and she is a rescue dog that we picked up for Xmas to give her a chance and a good life.

The shelter classed her as a Lab boxer mix but I don’t really believe that

There is the option to do a genetics test for a 100 dollars but I thought let’s ask here first.

Well, since Labs and boxers both have floppy ears, I'd say that's a bit of a long shot
