We would like to get both DNA and genetics testing done on Jake, possibly for breeding purposes later down the line. Which company do you recommend? What are the pro's and con's to them? He does have champion blood lines and is a mix of English and American. He has a very calm demeaner and I will be working towards getting his CGC and training to be a therapy dog. No anti-breeding comments please. Yes, I'm trying to do right by the breed. Yes, I will be getting his hips checked when he is old enough. No, I'm not looking for a quick, easy paycheck. Remember, all reputable breeders/studs had a first time. Thanks.

I used a cheap test when I had Lincoln's Dna done just to find out his breeds . Not sure how accurate it was . They have more expensive ones . I found one where you can get dna/genetics . It uses cheek swabs but apparently saliva is just as accurate as blood tests . This is the one I found but there are many others I'm sure. Just a place to start.
    Good Luck !

GenSol Diagnostics in the U.S. - their prices are reasonable and they offer a lot of 1/2 price specials throughout each year where you can get multiple tests done. Cheek swabs so very gentle on the dogs.
