Re: Which puppy for us?! With Willow, I just went as soon as she whined. I learnt the difference pretty quickly between her "I need the loo" and "I'm bored/lonely" whines, but at this stage you want to make sure she's not going to the toilet in her crate, so I wouldn't wait for the silence just yet. Just like small kids, by the time small puppies feel the need to wee, it's an urgent thing they can't hold. Glad you had a good night but, like Mags said, she's definitely lulling you into a false sense of security
Re: Which puppy for us?! Thank you, I'll do that! She doesn't seem to mind being on her own so it's a fair bet that if she wines she needs the toilet, glad I know that now! This morning she's been for a walk down to the main road, she's seen the rubbish truck and she's been to the vets. She's sleeping in her crate again - I think she may be there a while!
