    I am back!

So Sully is 13 months. He is doing amazing with service work. He does a lot of tasks and alerts and he has a wonderful temperament.

But we are have having a few hiccups.
    .
One of them is whining in down stays for long periods both in home and public access.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Sullybear
When he whines what do you do? Be precise as you can please. When you release him from down is he still whining? Or if he has to be qiuet, how long has he been quiet before you release him?

I do the same thing. A firm "I can't understand you, please stop whining." Can sometimes do the trick. I also use "You need to calm or your going in time out to calm down" as well. If neither of those work to stop the melt down and I get foot stomping instead I scoop him up and set him on his bed. Give him 2-3min and we're good.
