My girlfriend and I took Chopper camping in Mount Hood National Forest on our last camping trip. We spent 4 days exploring the most remote portions of the wilderness we could reach. Chopper loves to go camping. Post up your camping pics, if you like. I would love to see them... Mt. Hood: Mt. Ranier and Mt. Oh wow, fantastic photos. Such a beautiful location. It's made me want to go camping again and that's impressive as I gave all that up as my children grew up. Chopper must have had a brilliant time. He looks happy to around water
Beautiful photos! We used to camp a lot, but haven't been in a few years. Now we have the dogs, it's a good incentive to take it up again - when we have time...
Really lovely pics. My dog absolutely adored camping the one time we took him. What's not to like? You wake up and you are already on a walk. And people live on the floor with you. He thought it was amazing. I hate camping - I hate just about everything about camping.
Fantastic! I would love to go camping but have to work up the nerve to go on my own. Actually, I'd love to do a long walk, somewhere like the Pennine way - anyone interested? (Not all of it )
Jane, come over here, we have loads of fantastic long walks where you can stay in refuges (either manned or unmanned) overnight. The unmanned ones are free to stay in, and are basically just an old stone building with a collection of steel bedframes that you put your sleeping mat and sleeping bag on. They'll have a cooking area and access to water (generally from a nearby stream). The manned ones have proper beds, showering facilities, provide meals and some even have a basic bar! Clearly you have to pay to stop in those ones When the pups are fully grown, next summer, I'd like to go and do a few overnight stays in the refuges, of either type. OH would definitely prefer the type with the bar
Love your photos, looks great. We love camping but haven't taken Ella yet (she's 16 weeks old). Can't wait to take her this summer with our friends and their two choccy labs. Can you imagine three choccy labs away camping together?!
