My Gundog Club training manuals have arrived at last (stupid postal system), so that gives me something concrete to work towards. Exciting times :)

Must get myself motivated to start reading mine now that Juno is over her surgery and recovery, although come to think of it perhaps I'll wait until we move ;). Have fun reading :D

I'm about a third through the first one already. All stuff I know, but always good to recap. Luckily, I have lots of big files to process this afternoon, so more time to read than usual :)

They are good for recapping and going through just to see how you`re progressing. Just dug mine out now Murphys` better. I reckon I could almost apply for stage 1, altho` I may just wait until we`ve been on holiday and try some proofing in other locations. Also got a book on raw feeding by Tom Lonsdale so that`s for holiday reading.

From looking at the website, I think it's just the duration of sit I need to work on with mine, because that's something I've neglected somewhat.
Holiday reading for me is going back over Clicker Training - The Perfect Foundation and Clicker Gundog, and reading The Other End of The Leash.

I can see my family being merciless with my choice of "relaxing" reading, as I make notes in the margins and cover them with post-it notes :D

I'm hoping that not long after my hols, I'll be able to come back to the UK and have another training session, then fit another one in in October or early November, so I need to be preparing for that :)
