It works, with no bathing. I don't like to bath them at all.
Re: Why Wasn't I Warned! OK, so on the fox poo subject, I have heard how appalling it is. I've never had the pleasure of having it on one of my dogs. Why doesn't regular shampoo work??

I've never had the pleasure of having it on one of my dogs. Why doesn't regular shampoo work?? [/quote] No idea - but the smell is so STRONG!! Not much will beat it! Also, any shampoo strips the dog's natural oils so they are less waterproof and much more smelly - far better to use no shampoo at all

I shall have to wait and see if Willow and her brother are fox poo rollers :-\
Re: Why Wasn't I Warned! I think it is all a question of breeding. The better your pedigree the less likely you are to have the problem. OK I will get my coat! Roger

Re: Why Wasn't I Warned! We have good breeders here in B.C. (and no foxes) At least I've only seen one.

Re: Why Wasn't I Warned! Pongo is happy to ignore fox poo (apart from trying to eat it). The local farmer's slurry pit now.... that is an entirely different matter..... The one time he discovered it he dived straight in and did a full length. We washed him for three hours and he was the shiniest white puppy in the world....but still stank to high heaven. For days. We don't walk that way any more.
Re: Why Wasn't I Warned! There seems to be an implication here that rolling = poor pedigree. I wish to put on record that Lady's pedigree is impeccable and that if she chooses to roll in Fox pooh at each and every opportunity it's her royal right! ;D

However, after today's episode, she's certainlly no lady....fox AND cow today!

Good old Pongo!!
Re: Why Wasn't I Warned! Charlie has only one ancestor of note, and that was a French street urchin made good - a very accidental show champion. And he has only rolled in fox poo once. He much prefers dead seagulls. So there. ;D ;D ;D
Re: Why Wasn't I Warned! Holly has an impeccable pedigree. She comes from a long line of scavengers and poo rollers.
