I will be calling the vet but here is a question that some may have had to deal with. I live in the city and during the cold months I see a couple wild rabbits in my back yard (neighbors too). My puppy will not have all her shots yet and as I try to toilet train her, I am worried that she may eat some rabbit poop. Of course I will be with the pup and try to ensure that nothing happens and it is free of rabbit poop. However at 2 am I may not see it. Is there a danger since she will not be fully vaccinated?

Hi there, there should not be any problems due to eating rabbit poop, as long as you keep up with her worming tablets. Dogs will quite naturally eat rabbit droppings - they seem to think they are doggy smarties!!!

I would be more worried if there were foxes.
Quite a hazard for town dwellers. Your vet will be able to tell you if there is a risk from foxes in your area though.
