Hi My black Labrador Puppy is 8 weeks, we picked him up on 22nd February. I am totally shattered , he’s been very traumatised but is sleeping in his crate happily. I’m a first time dog owner and any support is most welcome

Hi Tess and welcome from me and my pup Isla 12 months. It is totally overwhelming at first when you bring your pup home, your sleep deprived, unsure and feel out of your depth, or at least I did! But hang on in there because in a few months, with training and patience you will have a pup to be proud of and a really special member of you family, with many happy years hopefully to come, that you will love unconditionally. Thanks so much Saffy, Its day 5 and I’ve not slept properly,so I’m running on empty today. However, we are doing little bits each day and I’ve been trying really hard to socialise Winston. He’s really clingy and howls when I leave his sight! I can’t even go to the loo without feeling guilty
