Last night, when I was getting ready to take the dogs out, Shadow started the "wall of death". I was in the kitchen, slicing up frankfurter to take with us. Shadow going nutty all around the place. Suddenly, he jumped sideways up onto the kitchen work surface!!! He stopped immediately and put his tail between his legs - he'd clearly scared himself with his achievement. Meanwhile, I'm standing, open-mouthed, saying, "Shadow, what the <BLEEEEEEEEEEP>!!". I had to pick him up and lift him down onto the floor. Just as OH came in and saw him up there .... "Errrr - what just happened?!".
Re: Woah!!!! LOLOLOLOL!!!!!! I've seen Obi do this from a standing start, but onto a wall, not the kitchen bench!!! I'm not surprised you exclaimed!!
Re: Woah!!!!
;D ;D ;D Wow, good effort Shadow ( who will henceforth be renamed Tigger!) ;D
;D ;D ;D
Re: Woah!!!! So for the first year, we have to restrict jumping in and out of cars, running up and down steps etc. Does it say anywhere about stopping your dog jumping on a kitchen worktop?! Maybe Pippa should put it in her next book. Tigger indeed! ;D ;D
Re: Woah!!!! That was great to read, put my imagination in overdrive ;D Loved the fact that Shadow scared himself "how the heck did I get here"!
Re: Woah!!!! Certainly gives new meaning to Counter Surfing (I see now that Harvey has just been dipping his toes in the water rather than full-on surfing ;D )
Re: Woah!!!! Bet in that split second, the knife stopped mid chop, your eyes locked and you both thought at exactly the same instant , What the heck? ;D......or,words to that effect!
After I'd deposited him back on the floor, I went to continue chopping - the knife was being held beautifully vertical by the frankfurter where I had, indeed, stopped mid-chop
