We went and stayed at The Bothy near Broughton in Furness up on Birker Fell out in the wilds of the Lake District perfect cottage for 2 adults and a dog or 2 . Great walks out of the door and very friendly owners they have 4 cottages of various sizes and all dog friendly highly recommend go to www.woodendhouse.co.uk . Mike
