Actually, I just realised they're Saxaphone rather than Saxophone. That's going to annoy me now! I wonder if I can convince myself it was an intentional spelling and is, maybe, pronounced "Sax-a-fon-ee"?

I suppose it's not a massive surprise our dogs have some related ancestry, since Jake and Ruby, the parents of my two, came to France from Edinburgh. I suppose that the majority of matings are somewhat local affairs. Being new to Labs, these names mean next to nothing to me!
